Hartland Health Hint: To help with elimination problems, drink a pint of luke-warm water upon rising; add some lemon juice to help taste and also add valuable bioflavonoids which increase; the absorption of Vitamin C.
Bioflavonoids are found in the white material just beneath the peel of citrus fruits; also found in peppers.
Do not drink with meals; drink nothing within half hour before eating and wait one and one half hours eating to drink water. Reason: Drink dilutes digestive juices. It takes four and one half hours for food to digest and organs need a rest; so try not to eat between meals and space about 5 to 6 hours apart. Try to drink 6 to 8 ounces water a day. Eat breakfast like a king; lunch like a queen, and dinner like a pauper. Most of us do the opposite. As always, get your doctor’s advise.
