School Budget
Whether the position is called “Learning Environment Coordinator,” “Director of Administrative Services” or “Supervisor of Facilities” the School Board and school adminstration has failed • to make the case with the Board of Supervisors and much of the public that the school system needs someone full time in charge of maintenance and bus transportation.
The primary action of the supervisors at Monday’s session was to cut the budget so as to cut that position out.
Most supervisors made it clear they will not take kindly to any School Board action to preserve that position at the expense of other things, and the School Board should not challenge them on that.
