Lorinda Bosch’s U-12 boys finally accepted the girls who got assigned to their soccer team when their girls’ team dissolved early in the season, and the Bosch team returned to its early winning ways, with a 5-1 victory over a Fauquier team last Saturday.
“We went through a rough transition period, but we finally got it all together,” said Ms. Bosch. “We all worked together this time. It was thrilling. The boys even passed the ball to the girls, which was a real, major improvement.”
The Bosch team now has two wins, one loss and one tie.
Jim Lofton’s U-8 team also has a positive record of three wins, one loss and one tie. The last two Lofton games were against tough Madison teams. Rappahannock prevailed in the
