County High School, took first place in the senior division of Computer Science. He won for his project, Fractals: Patterns or Chaos. In addition Chris won the Outstanding Exhibit in Computer Science Award sponsored by the Virginia Dehtal Association.
A second place winner for his senior division Chemistry project on pH Levels in Local Storms, Ryland Pace also won a special award for Outstanding Exhibit in Chemistry sponsored by the Virginia Dental Association and another for Innovativeness and Scientific Excellence in Geosciences sponsored by the Association for Women Geoscientists.
