Home Based Business Series
The Fauquier Extension Office is sponsoring a series of evening workshops to assist people who are planning to start home based businesses. The workshops will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings in April at the Extension Office in Warrenton. Sessions will be held on April 1, April 8, April 22, and April 29.
Topics to be covered include Using Computers For A Home Based Business, Preparing A Business Plan, Tax Implications Of A Homed Based Business, and Marketing And Advertising A Home Based Business. For information on registration and fees, call the Fauquier Extension Office at 341-7950.
Farm Workshop Scheduled
A Farm Management Computer workshop for beef producers will be held March 27 and 28 at Washington fire hall. The workshop is for intermediate and beginning computer users and will feature hands-on training tailored to the needs of the modem farm business manager. To register call Kenner Love at 675-3619.
