Mr. Allsberry was bom Nov. 2,® 1907, in Flint Hill, son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Jordan Allsberry.
He was the oldest member and senior deacon of Macedonia Baptist Church.
He was retired from American Viscose in Front Royal.
He was the husband of the late Nellie Sanford Marlboro Allsberry.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. Ray A. Allsberry of Durham, N.C.; a sister, Catherine Kilby of Front Royal; a brother, Edgar Allsberry of Strasburg and a grandchild.
Pallbearers were members of the Allsberry family.
Deacons of the church served as honorary pallbearers.
Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg was in charge of the arrangements.

Rosie Marie Streightiff, 64, of Warrenton died on Friday, March 14 at her residence. •
She was bom May 24, 1932 in Lignum.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bealeton Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Haywood Mason; mother, Flossie Novella Tapp Smith; a brother, Lester Cloe and ,two stepsisters, Louise Payne and Margaret Richardson.
She is survived by her husband, Myron Weaver Streightiff of ■ -
