The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the burglary which took place at Rappahannock County High School during the Feb. 8-9 weekend.
Major Rick MacWelch said that it has been determined that a total of $1748.80 in cash and checks was taken from the school that night. $685.40 was later recovered after it was found on school property, leaving $1063.40 still unaccounted for.
Two neighbors in Washington obtained warrants last week against each other for curse and abuse.
Lynn Sullivan obtained a warrant on William Bear last Wednesday, and Mr. Bear obtained a warrant on Ms. Sullivan the following day charging her with curse and abuse.
A warrant for trespassing was obtained on March 6 for Anthony Edward Clanagan, 19, of Washington. Mr. Clanagan is charged with trespassing on the grounds of Rappahannock County High School on or about Feb. 9, 1997. According to Deputy Chris
