Church to determine Rev. H. Vernon DeLong’s selection as new pastor. A Spring mini-revival was held from Friday, March 14 through Sunday, March 16 to give members the opportunity to meet and hear Rev. DeLong preach. It was a pleasure to also meet his wife, Wanda, daughter, Crystal, and son, Courtney.
The Amissville United Methodist Church invites all children in the community to color Easter eggs in the Fellowship Hall beginning promptly at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 28. The coloring will take at least one hour and the eggs will be used on Saturday, March 29 for their annual Easter Egg Hunt which will begin with an Easter Story in the Sanctuary at 2 p.m.
A Sunrise Service will be held on the grounds at Amissville United Methodist Church Easter Sunday, March 30, beginning at 5:50 a.m. and should last a half hour.
