Special, and others. The pilots did aileron loops, hammerhead stalls, and Cuban 8’s, sometimes flying upside down or straight up into the air to accomplish these feats.
One of the most spectacular and impressive sights was of the Golden Knights, the U.S. Army parachute team. Ten men jumped from the plane, first one, then four, then .five together, each sailing down with a bright yellow parachute, and landing right on target in front of the cheering crowd.
There were dozens of aircraft for the kids to examine and many that they were allowed to inspect the inside of, including a C-130 Hercules transport, a CH-53 Sea Stallion heiicopter, an HH-65 Rescue
