Avid gardeners have great insights into what would increase gardening across Virginia. Recently in The Virginia Gardener Newsletter (Department of Horticulture, Blacksburg, Va. 24061-0327), I invited gardeners to express their ideas about how the horticultural industry could better help them to be happy, successful gardeners. I received numerous excellent letters with suggestions for improvement. Here are some of their comments:
