Tennessee. It was a treat to get together with my relatives and wonderful to witness my aunt and uncle renewing their vows. After the party, we returned to my parents home in North Carolina to continue our efforts in trying to spoil my great niece and nephew.
Don’t forget Father’s Day is just ahead on June IS. Plan a special day for dear ole dad. Flag Day is June 14 and that all important first day of summer is June 21.
Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue will hold their contestants’ carnival June 25-28. The winners of the Little Miss (ages 3-7), the Junior Miss (ages 8-13), and the Queen (ages 14-20) will be based on the number of tickets sold. Contact Sandi Carter
