Introductory Workshop Offered
Rappahannock Healing Arts Center will offer a one-day program Saturday, May 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Alexander Technique. This one day workshop will help you learn to move without pain while increasing vitality and energy. Golf Tournament Set
The first Panther Classic Golf Tournament will be held at 8 a.m. on ! Sunday, June 15 at Bowling Green Country Club North. Tee times will be assigned at 8 a.m. You will be notified of your tee time.
Please be at the course 30 minutes prior to the time. Registration deadline is Monday, June 2. Proceeds will benefit the Rappahannock County High School Athletic Department. Awards will be given to the first and second place teams. For further information call 675-1573, Donn Hackney.
Adult Education Classes Set :
Free adult education classes continue to be available at the Rappahannock County Library, lower level room, on Monday and Wednesday, 7 to 9 p.m. New students are asked to register on Wednesday evening. For further information call 675-3419 or 675-2549.
Contestants Needed
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department is seeking queen contestants for their annual parade on Thursday, June 26. Queen — Ages 14-20; Princess — Ages 8-13 and Little Princess — Ages 3-7. Those interested should call Sandi Carter at 937-4218. The carnival will be held June 25-28/ 1

The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Departments are currently seeking queen contestants for their annual carnival which will be held July 23-26. Book Sale Scheduled
There will be a used curriculum and book sale from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 6 at Culpeper United Methodist Church, across from Safeway. All are welcome to buy or sell.
Marshall Heritage Day Set
Celebrate 200 years of small town American life history at Marshall Heritage Day on Saturday, May 31. A parade, featuring the Marine Coras Band will begin the festivities at 10 a.m. Free admission to daytime events Some rides will charge a fee. Tickets to the Civil War Ball are $10 per person
