Also on hand were representatives of the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, U S. Army, Virginia National Guard, Maryland Air National Guard, and Virginia State Police. Several northern Virginia sheriff’s offices and rescue and fire personnel also attended, including the Sperryville Rescue Squad and the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
This was the fourth year in a row that Capt. Jeff Brown of the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office, who is the DARE officer for the county, took his fifth grade DARE students to the air show. “I think the kids really enjoyed it and it was educational too,” he said.
