The display ties in nicely with the upcoming monthlong focus on water quality in the Rappahannock River Watershed, entitled “From the Blue Ridge to the Bay: Water ^Quality for the Future” sponsored by the Piedmont Environmental Council in cooperation with the Ragged Mountain Resource Center, the Middle Street Gallery, Rappahannock County Government, the ya. Izaak Walton League, The Rappahannock County 4H, and the Library.
The community-wide project will include an art show, a panel discussion moderated by County Administrator John McCarthy, hikes along the tributary rivers in the Shenandoah National Park, and more. Watch the Rappahannock News for upcoming articles.
In other Library news: The annual Friends Of The Library July 4 booksale is approaching fast. Your donations are welcome, but please, no encyclopedias or National Geographic magazines. You can drop your donations off at the Library during business hours.
