Another speaker at the luncheon, a foster mother from Caroline Cdunty, said that she has been a foster parent to 30 teenagers over the last 13 years. She loves keeping in touch with the children once they have left her home, and showed a photograph of her with one of her foster children on her wedding day with her biological parents too.
The foster parents related stories about their experiences as foster parents, and on the whole, everyone agreed it was a worthwhile experience.
