Collaboration and creativity have been the basis of this project. It includes music by Andrew Van Horn who is accompanied by members of “Mulch.” Paul Kengmo, Sheriff Gary Settle, Zoning Administrator John McCarthy, choreographer Sharon Wyrrick and other RCHS faculty members have given their input.
The play and mural celebrate three simple steps in the conflict resolution process that were articulated by Martha Harty of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA as the “ACB’s” — Airing the Viewpoints, Clarifying the Needs and Brainstorming Solutions. The mural/drama project have been part of the first year of Peer Mediation at RCHS.
