June 2, 1997 is the final reporting date for Culpeper/Rappahannock County farmers to file crop acreage reports for 1997 small grains. This includes both fall and spring seeded crops of barley, wheat, oats, and rye. Spring seeded crops of com, soybeans, and fruits and vegetables must be reported by June 30, 1997. Grain sorghum must be reported by July 15, 1997.

This date is important to all producers since crop reports are required for loan eligibility for all 1997 crops grown on farms participating in the Production Flexibility Program. These reports are also important to the FSA County Committee in maintaining up
