This Week
• April 16, at 7 p.m. the second Gateway Committee community meeting at the Sperryville fire hall.
• April 17, John Tippett, executive director of FOR will be the speaker at the library from 7:30-9:30p.m. as part of the “Blue Ridge to the Bay” Speaker . Series.
• April 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the Creative Community Youth Council plans a work day for the elders to benefit senior citizens. Meet at Carrigan’s School House in Washington, Va. Residents are invited to participate and help with yard work, deep cleaning, painting, putting in gardens and whatever else may need to be done. Dinner will be served after the clean up.
• April 18, at 6:30 p.m. the annual Miss Rappahannock Pageant will be held at Rappahannock High School.
• April 22, no pre-school story hour at the library. It has been rescheduled to April 29.
• April 22, at 2 p.m. Triad will meet at the Washington fire hall.
• April 24 and 25, at 7:30 p.m. Ki Theatre presents Poetry Circus sponsored by the Many Faces of Poetry Project. The cost is $6 for adults. Students admitted free of charge. Call 675-1819 for information or reservation.
