Julie Portman has designed and will lead the workshop. She is an playwright, actor, storyteller and teacher. She began forming plays based on personal stories during a four year appointment as artist in residence at Tufts University. A decade later, Portman completed the first play in what would become a trilogy based on lives of members of her family.
