Congratulations to Karen and Chuck Grady on the birth of their daughter, Sara Nicole. Sara was born on Saturday, April 4 and weighed nine pounds and five ounces. Karen is the daughter of first time grandparents Bonnie and Jerry Curtis of Amissville.
Our prayers are with Emma Swatman who has surgery scheduled for Monday, April 13. Hope everything goes as planned, Emma! We need to also keep so many others in our thoughts and prayers: Margaret Meyers as her leg heals; Levi Atkins as he continues to recover from recent surgery; and Sharon Scott who continues to progress and was able to be home for Easter.
The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will be holding a dance Saturday, April 18 beginning at 9 p.m. Proper dress is required. Music will be provided by Kuttin Edge.
