The Rappahannock Athletic Association has been working toward rebuilding its facility at Stuart Field and had planned its opening day for this Saturday, April 18. Unfortunately, due to recent rainy weather, the reconstruction phase is behind schedule. They have therefore decided to delay the opening day ceremonies until May 2.
They hope the “entire project will be finished at that time and everyone would then be able to better see just what their donations were used for,” said Hodge Miller, RAA board member.
