Cadet Airman First Class Camilla Jones has received academic honors at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal. Jones has been named to the first semester dean’s list for academic achievement with a 3.36 average at the United Methodist college preparatory school. She is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Donald L. Jones of Amissville. Shenandoah National Park has designated May 13 to 15 as Spring Wildflower Weekend. In cooperation with the Shenandoah Chapter of the Virginia Wildflower Preservation Society, the park will he offering special programs and activities. Beef Referendum voting will be conducted in the Rappahannock County Extension Office on Gay Street in Washington, Va. between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on May 10. The Rappahannock Lion’s Club auction will be held Saturday, May 14, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Washington fire hall. Benefits will go towards new score boards for the new gym at the high school.
