Mary Beth Williams was tragically killed in an automobile accident on Route 729 on May 14, 1997. Randall S. Updike, the chairman of the Mary Beth Williams Memorial Fund, notes that she was a “vibrant, personable teenager with a longstanding interest in agriculture.”
