The participants compete for a cash prize of $300. The course record for men is 31:26 and for women, 36:46 but many run, or walk, just to be involved and have a good time.
The race runs from Vierling’s Flint Hill Packing Shed down U.S. 522 to a right turn onto Fodderstack Road and then to the Town of Washington where runners and walkers turn left at The Inn and then right on Gay Street and down to the finish.
