Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 3 beginning at 2 p.m. Be sure to bring a basket or container to gather eggs on the church grounds. Everyone, young and old, has a wonderful time and we thank the ladies of UMC for all the preparations and love they put into this activity each year.
Culpeper County Public Schools will be closed for spring break on Friday, April 2 through Monday, April 5. However, schools will also be closed for a professional workday on Tuesday, April 6. Students and staff will return on Wednesday, April 7.
Rappahannock County Public schools will be closed Friday, April 2 and Monday. April 5 to observe their spring holiday.
An early reminder to watch out for those practical jokers on April Fool’s Day and to spring forward on Saturday, April 3 before you go to bed on you won’t be late for church or Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday, April 4. Daylight Savings time begins on Sunday!
The Amissville United Methodist Church will hold its Sunrise Service Easter morning at 5:30 a.m. at the church. Everyone is invited to attend and stay for the breakfast which will follow the service.
Easter Sunrise Service for Jeflfersonton Baptist Church will be held on Sunday, April 4 at the Hillcrest Cemetery on Route 229. Breakfast will follow the service at the Jefifersonton Community Center.
