New coed teen
group forming
A high adventure group called Venturing is forming in the county. A branch of the Boy Scouts of America, this is a coed group for teens who like camping, being outdoors, learning new skills, rafting, etc. for ages 14-20.
Former Navy Seal and Eagle Scout, Andy Nichols of Flint Hill will be attending to help kick off the first sign up night which will be held April 8 at 7 p.m. at Rappahannock County High School. Interested adults are also needed to help with leadership. The group will be holding biweekly meetings and activities.
