• In fourth grade Mrs. Simpson’s class will be distinguishing between fact and opinion this week...a very important lesson that will be helpful for the rest of their lives!
• Coach Laura Conklin at RCHS wishes to make a correction in the Summer JV Volleyball Camp scheduled. It will be July 5-8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please mark your calendars.
• JV Basketball Coach, Rhonda Jenkins, will be sponsoring the second annual Youth Basketball Camp June 14-18, from 9 a.m. until noon. The camp will be held in the RCHS gym for students entering the third grade through sixth grade. The cost of the camp is $40 per student. Each student will receive a t-shirt and a trophy.
The following areas will be covered: basic skills and drills, game competitions, teamwork, and most importantly fun!!! For more information call Coach Jenkins at 987-8259 or 675-3083. Applications must be turned in by May 14.
• In seventh grade, Algebra-prep students are reminded that the SOL tests dates are quickly approaching. After school tutoring is available for any students desiring the extra help. See Math teacher, Mrs. Liz Purcell for information.
