In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, George Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Floyd Jenkins and Elzie Jenkins and also a long time companion Isabell Bartlett.
Surviving are two sisters, Edna Jenkins Riddle of Front Royal and Estelle Jenkins Stilles of Knox City, Texas and a number of nieces and nephews, especially Gertie Jenkins and Tammy Jenkins.
Funeral services were conducted March 21 at CloreGeest Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Yowell officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert H. Jenkins Jr., Steve Jenkins, Tommy Jenkins, Kenny Jenkins, Donnie Jenkins and Robert Aubrey.
Honorary pallbearers were Benny May and Tim Jenkins.
