• The Saltwater Aquarium has been successfully assembled and is on display in the main lobby at RCES. Please stop by and enjoy the variety of creatures.
• Governor Gilmore designated March 23 as Tornado Preparedness Day. Because we try to conduct a special emergency drill each year, RCES practiced their evacuation procedures on that day. It’s always an interesting (but non-threatening) experience. Ask your child about it.
• Thanks to the Band Boosters Citrus Sale and your support, our band students now have access to a xylophone, bells and a bass clarinet. Thanks again.
• The Manufacturing and Technology class at RCHS is mass producing projects for sale. These include picnic tables, CD/clock shelves, and rotating salt, pepper and napkin holders. For more information, contact Mr. Scott Schlosser at 987-8575 or a member of the Manufacturing Tech class. This is not only a practical hands-on building project, but it introduces the students to various aspects of marketing. The craftsmanship in these items is quite good.
