Rabies clinic scheduled
A rabies clinic will be held at the Rappahannock Animal Shelter on Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is located at the Rappahannock Landfill. Cost is $6 per animal. For more information call 937-3336 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
4-H members to pickup trash
Any 4-H member interested in picking up trash for the Trash Free Rappahannock Program, please meet at the Extension Office after school Tuesday, March 30 and Thursday, April 1. Remember to bring gloves. If you have any questions, call Diana Corbin at 547-3452.
Easter breakfast set
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will be having an Easter breakfast on Sunday, March 28 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Cost for adults will be $5; children four to 12 will be $2.50 and children under three will eat for free. The department will also host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 3 at 11 a.m.
Benefit dinner scheduled
The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will be having a fried chicken dinner on March 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the fire hall. Proceeds will benefit the department and local residents are encouraged to attend.
