Tim and Corey Norman went fishing at Syria on Saturday. Four year old Corey caught five trout. The largest measured 16 inches. Corey sure was proud of his accomplishment.
Also trout fishing at Syria on Saturday were Ken and Fran Norman and sons, Will, Wade and Wyatt of Washington.
On Sunday the Woodville Baptist Church held services and communion at Sunny Slope Nursing Home in Flint Hill.
Mrs. Louise O’Bannon’s cousin, Dr. R.A. Bagby Sr. of Alabama and his son, Dr. R.A. Bagby Jr. of Tennessee were visitors of Mrs. O’Bannon on Friday. That evening they all met with Mrs. O’Bannon’s daughters and son-in-law, Beth Scott and Martha Lou and Lee Hitt for supper at the Country Cafe in Washington.
Mary Doyle Johnson of Lexington, Ky. was a Thursday night guest of Misty Hitt. They dined with Pat Kerrick at John’s Restaurant in Culpeper.
Debbie and Corey Norman recently attended a birthday party for Hunter and Johnny Jenkins Jr. in Sperryville.
