Survivors include her children and their spouses, Mary and Charles Priest, Frances and Gilbert Lawrence and Nancy and William Petty, all of Amissville, Ruby and Ernest Clements of Manassas, Margie and Emory Shifflett of Alexandria, Martha Wisecarver of Winchester and David Milboume of Culpeper.
Also two sisters, Ruth Brown of Richmond and Edna Hoffman and husband, Daniel of Memphis, Tenn. and one brother, Clarence Hitt of Haymarket; 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday at Amissville Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon DeLong an Dr. David Small. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
