rested and with full stomachs! Getting a good night’s sleep and eating a good breakfast before test day really does make a difference in the students’ ability to focus on the test.
• Get well wishes go out to RCES sixth grade student, Andrew Treanor, who recently broke his arm in five places! He has been through a trying time, but is now recovering nicely. We are all looking forward to his quick return to school!
• The RCES Book Exchange is still happening! If you have not yet donated your gently used children’s books to this wonderful PTO project, it is not too late. The collection box is bursting at the seams which brings joy to us all. On DARE Day Parent Volunteer, Deborah Flournoy, will be manning the table in front of the school where children take home the book of their choice for a donation of five, ten or 25 cents.
. If you have books to donate on that day, please deliver them to Mrs. Fournoy at the PTO Book Exchange table. Seek out the smell of freshly popped popcorn
