with his wife Karen, created a delicious, attractively presented lunch for 58 Hospice of the Rapidan volunteers and staff members.
Almost a hundred items were donated for the silent auction held before and during the luncheon, raising over $730 for Hospice’s Benevolent Care Fund.
Hospice of the Rapidan is a licensed, nonprofit hospice providing skilled medical care and compassionate support to terminally ill patients and their families in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, Rappahannock and surrounding counties.
It is not affiliated with a particular hospital, but accepts referrals from Culpeper Hospital, Fauquier Hospital, Martha Jefferson Hospital and The University of Virginia Medical Center, as well as from physicians, clergy and the private sector.
