Hearthstone School would
like to thank the Chateauville Foundation for their generous support during our first four years. Through the support of Dietlinde and Lorin Maazel’s Foundation, Hearthstone has been able to provide a six-county area with an arts-based education that draws upon the Waldorf curriculum in an agricultural setting.
The school’s location at Castleton Farm was ideal for Hearthstone’s beginnings. As the need to grow became essential for self-sufficiency,
