She is involved in many organizations and always willing to lend a hand for any number of community events. She is a board member of the Fauquier-Rappahannock Chapter of American Red Cross; board member of Child Nutrition Inc.; Washington Ladies Auxiliary and the Salvation Army-Culpeper Branch. She is a member of the Rappahannock Woman’s Club and the Rappahannock Extension Homemakers.
% Mrs. Davis is a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Amissville, where she serves as church treasurer and choir member. She is also a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary and of the C.E. Dearing Gospel Chorus. She is a member of Redemption Chapter #24 O.E.S. and MECCA Court #2, Daughter of Isis. She and her husband, David, of 36 years, have three children, Marie, Kathryn and Chandra and two grandchildren, D’Angelo and Khalil. Mrs. Davis likes to travel, enjoys music and emphasizes that “family is always first." With all of Mrs. Davis’ community activities and involvement’s it is no surprise to note that in 1993 she was selected as Citizen-ofthe Year from the Rappahannock News and it is with great pride we name her Citizen-of-the-Week at this time. Mrs. Davis is always willing to serve in whatever capacity and always willing to go the extra mile.
