Cared, for elderly
Delia Virginia Leake, 92, of Madison died Wednesday, June 28 at Autumn Care of Madison.
She was born Oct. 10, 1907 in Rappahannock County to the late John William Dodson and Alice Berthina Leake Dodson.
Mrs. Leake cared for the elderly in Culpeper and Rappahannock.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Alice Leake Clarke of Sperryville; two granddaughters, Kristi Clarke deToll of Culpeper and Candace Gibson of Ruckersville and a grandson, Robert Keith Leake of Orange.
Additional survivors fticlude five great-grandchildren, Kori, Ryan, Kayli and Kamille Toulotte and Dalton Gibson and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Leake; an infant daughter, Lucille Leake; a granddaughter, Stacy Clarke; five brothers and one sister.
Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, July 1 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Alpheus Atkins officiating.
Pallbearers were Darren Dodson, Richard Jenkins, Greg Jenkins, John Dodson, Kenneth Foster and William Dodson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Woodville Baptist Church, 4646 Sperryville Pike, Woodville, Va.. 22740 and/or the Capitol Chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation, 7531 Leesburg Pike, Suite 402-, Falls Church, Va. 22143.
Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in
charge of the arrangements.
