Proposed Amendment To The Zoning Chapter

Of The Rappahannock County Code

Relating To Family Apartments

The Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County, Virginia, shall hold a public hearing on Monday, August 7, 2000, at 7:00 P.M. at the Courthouse in Washington, VA, to consider the following amendment(s) to the Rappahannock County Code provisions for zoning (§170):

Amend §170-62G by adding at the end of the fifth sentence (ending “...main residence", replacing the with a and reading:

except upon a finding by the BZA that exceptional topographic conditions exist on the site, such that varying this limit shall not act to the detriment of the public interest, upon which finding the BZA may grant such separation as it deems appropriate.

This proposed amendment shall also be considered by the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at a Public Hearing to be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at 7:30 P.M. at the Courthouse in Washington, VA.
