Mary Bessie Affleck, 84, formerly of Valley Avenue, Winchester died Wednesday, June 28 at a nursing home.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at First Baptist Church in Winchester by the Rev. Warren Boling. Burial was in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Mrs. Affleck was born Aug. 12, 1915 in Rappahannock. She was a cafeteria worker at O’Sullivan in Winchester. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Affleck Jr.; a son, William Dennis Martin of Winchester; two daughters, Carol Ann Affleck of Charlotte, N.C. and Sandra K. Whitecar of Alexandria; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Jones Funeral Home in Winchester was in charge of the arrangements.
