The Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority recently erected a new sign at the entrance to the Sperryville Waste Water Treatment Plant. A record is kept each day of the rainfall.

Mrs. Linda Smith has opened "Big Bear" which is soft ice cream on US 211, west of Sperryville. She will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There is always something going on at "Cooters." Cooters’ Country Picnic will be open every weekend during the fall, featuring his "bodacious" ribs and chicken.
