2. The Firebirds, coached by Beverly Wilson, took an early and exciting lead of 2-0. With their teamwork getting better and the coach’s game plan of being selfish and greedy with the ball, the Firebirds played Keep-Away for most of the game.
The second half was more exciting but Orange was able to keep their players fresher, as the Firebirds had only one substitute. Despite Orange outscoring Rapp 2 in the second half, Coach Pendleton and all the folks watching were very impressed with this young teams passing skills. With the final score 2-4, both teams left the field together, congratulating each other on the game they had just played. Go Go Go Firebirds!!
