Virginia Bihl

Virginia Frances Cooke Bihl, 87, died on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Mennonite Home in Lancaster, Pa. after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Bihl was born in Rixeyville, the daughter of Clarence C. and Bertha Corbin Cooke.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph B. Bihl and a daughter Nancy Elizabeth Bihl.

Mrs. Bihl was a homemaker and a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church in Viewtown. The family formerly resided in the Viewtown area.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances A. Pratt of Strasburg, Pa; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a brother, Harry Cooke of Viewtown.

Funeral services will be private.

Charles Snyder Funeral Home of Lancaster, Pa. was in charge of the arrangements.
