Margaret Jett

Margaret Virginia Jett, age 64, of Washington died Sunday, Sept. 24 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
She was retired from the S.S.I. Service in McLean.
She was bom March 23, 1936 in Huntly to the late William R. Jett and Erma B. Jordan Jett. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Mary E. Washington.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret S. Jett and a son, William Francis Carter Jr., both of Front Royal.
Additional survivors include a special niece, Deborah Burrow of Front Royal; one nephew, Ricardo Washington; four grandchildren and a sister, Leanna Jett of Washington, D.C..
Mrs. Jett was a dedicated member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill. She served as an usher on the Usher Board, was an active member of the kitchen committee and a member of the former Pastor's Aide Club.
Funeral services were conducted at Macedonia Baptist Church on Friday, Sept. 29 with the Rev. Dr. Donald Simpkins officiating. Burial was in the Russell Cemetery in Huntly.
Active pallbearers were William Carter, Henry Jett, Charles Jordan, Eugene Jordan, Lloyd Rollins Jr., Smith Roy and George Turner.
Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
