She was bom March 31, 1913 in Rappahannock County. She was the daughter of the late Cumberland S. Bennett and Octavia Rhoda Jenkins.

Her husband was the late Hubert David Jenkins Sr., who died Nov. 6, 1978.

Mrs. Jenkins was a clerk for Giant Food Stores. She was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church in Sperryville.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 2 at the Bradley Funeral Home Inc. in Luray with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.

Survivors include a son, Hubert David Jenkins Jr. of Luray; two daughters, Margaret Henrietta Toth of Luray and Joyce Kaye Gregson of Greensboro, N.C.; three brother >, John Bennett of Frederick, Md., Cumberland Seymour Bennett of Gainesville and Carroll Rector Bennett of Culpeper and a sister, Julia M. Johnson of Waldorf, Md.
