Nov. 16, 1950 Bradford's Toyland in Flint Hill is open and Santa has left a sample of all the best toys fresh from his special North Pole factory! The Old be-whiskered, red-suited Saint Nick, himself, will be present on Thanksgiving to greet visiting youngsters. Keep Virginia Green forestry training was conducted during the month of October at Rappahannock County High School according to Chief Forest Warden Raymond M. Johnson of Woodville. Approximately 45 boys received forestry training this year. This short forestry training course consisted of forest fire prevention, forest fire suppression and forest management. It was ordered at the November term of court that an increase of $100 would be placed to the auditor's fee for the county. The maximum charge for auditing of accounts and records of Rappahannock County was approved March 30, 1944, and set at $300. This recent addition will place the total cost at $400.

Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Latham of Viewtown celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary Sunday with a family dinner at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. G.E. Doyle at Amissville.
