selected Saturday morning, the girls played in their first contests. The Lady Vols beat the Huskies 26-23. Game two saw the Lady Hokies down the UVA Lady Cavs by a score of 28-16.
Games next week will pit the University of Conn Lady Huskies (Mrs. Shaw) against the Lady Hokies of Virginia Tech (Mr. Hutcheson) at 10 a.m. and the University of Tennessee Lady Vols (Ms. Alexander) will play the University of Virginia Lady Cavaliers (Mr. Miller) at 11 a.m.
With the commencement of the recreation league and the practice schedule of the Volleyball, as well as all of the boys basketball games, the open gym for boys and girls which did run all fall is now suspended. If there are any questions contact the Athletic Director at 987-8575.
