• Town Attorney John Bennett reported that the Leggett property easement abandonment request received by his office in October had been withdrawn. It appears that the title company had determined that the water line easement did not apply to the Leggett property- ty•
Issues relating to a new Town reservoir will be discussed at the December Town Council meeting, and should be advertised for a public hearing in January.
• Claudia Mitchell reported that an examination of Town street light fixtures indicated that the problems with the lights are due to power surges. Allegheny Power has agreed to set up to test its system, and anyone noticing power surges in Town are encouraged to report them to Kay Kohler.
• Mayor Willis reported that the County has established an Emergency Communications Advisory Board to review emergency communications (and communications facilities) in Rappahannock, and he volunteered to serve on the board as the Town's representative.
• Mayor Willis called for volunteers to assist in preparing for the Town's Christmas party. Anyone interested should call Kay Kohler at the Town Hall.
