At last week's Washington Town Council meeting, Mayor $tewart Willis announced that Drs. David Fairbanks, Sr. and Jr. had offered the town a bronze bust of George Washington, cast from the work of their father and grandfather, Avard Tennyson Fairbanks. The Fairbanks family seeks to honor Avard by donating a George Washington bust to every Washington town in the United States.
