Board action items
The School Board made affirmative decisions on a number of action items, the first of which was the approval of the family life education curriculum developed by the Family Life Education Curriculum Committee, and presented at last month's School Board meeting. The decision to approve the curriculum was unanimous, despite the admonishments of former School Board member Ron Makela. Mr. Makela said that he had "questions and concerns on the curriculum", and recommended that any action be tabled until further review could be undertaken.
