"What a lovely vase! It matches Mom's crystal. I must pack it carefully so it will arrive unbroken. Much can happen in transit. As with the crystal vase, each of our lives is precious and fragile. The question is... how can we protect our spirit from breaking from the hard knocks and bumps along the long road that is our life?
The Psalmist David certainly had a life that was strewn with trouble, much of it his own doing. When his spirit was nearly broken, he came to know God. in Psalm 18:2 David joyfully proc!aimed..."The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust."
Learn to know God. Visit His House each week. Talk to Cod ard He will help you to cushion the blows in your life. Indeed, your spirit is fragile and your life is precious to Him. Remember to handle it with prayer.
